Artist Robbin Rawlings lives in a "charming world" that feeds her upbeat and exuberant style. Painting from her home/studio a place she calls the ''glass box on the hill'' Robbin is surrounded by incredible mountain beauty, a lumbering deerhound, quizzical cats and a mysterious fox that visits her daily.
With her art journal in hand, Robbin loves to jump in the car and travel around the country. For her, the 2,000 mile road trip is forever revealing new jewels of inspiration as she recognizes that, "being original means seeking the unexpected." This originality can be seen in her paintings which display her stylish use of color and whimsical approach to subject matter.
Born in the Southeast, the warmth of the people and environment inspired and nurtured her artistic talent. After studying painting at Ringling School of Art and Design in Florida and graduating Suma Cum Lade from Parsons School of Design in New York and Los Angeles, Robbin successfully operated a graphic design studio for more than a decade. Her award-winning collections are admired internationally and have appeared in public exhibitions and private collections throughout the US.
