Despite his lifelong interest in art, it was only in the early 1990's when Will Rafuse decided to pursue his interest in painting on a full time basis. When he began his professional painting career in Vancouver he did not know that his colorful work would soon become a permanent fixture in the North American art scene. His signature style can also be recognized in many well-known movies and television shows. Will's images have also been licensed for a variety of products and have remained in high demand in the licensing industry.
Inspired by the works of Modigliani, Boterø and Balthus, Will has the ability to make his subject matter come alive with the use of stunning, bold colors, an element that has become part of his signature style. His work can be found in private and corporate collections worldwide.
Despite his tremendous success, Will maintains his down-to-earth and friendly nature making him a well respected artist in the community. He currently resides in Montreal, Quebec.
