David Noah Giles is a painter who has been making art for most of his life. His work is lively colorful and expressive. He studied painting and printmaking in high school and college as a young man and has continued his art practice as a studio painter and teacher. Born in Manhattan and raised in the Borough of Queens, New York, he studied art at the State University at New Paltz, New York. He moved out West to the San Francisco Bay Area to study at California College of Art in Oakland. Eventually he moved to Seattle in 1990, where he continues to work as an artist in his studio. His artwork has been exhibited throughout the Puget Sound area over the past 25 years. His work is in collections both private and public.
