Guy D’Alessandro lives with his wife, two daughters, son and a dog in northwestern NJ. He paints images of nature and pets. Guy learned how to improve his techniques while attending Keystone College, The School of Visual Arts, and Montclair University where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree. Guy is also an art teacher in New York City where he enjoys teaching his students how to draw and paint.
Guy paints primarily with acrylics. Color and light play an important role in all of his paintings. He tries to show nature as he sees it or how he pictures it would be in the wild. His subjects range from birds to bears. Guy’s greatest inspiration and motivation come from spending time outdoors. He tries to convey the beauty he discovers from the creatures he sees and admires through his paintings.
Guy has been exhibiting his work at shows and galleries since 1997. He has had solo shows in NJ, PA, and NYC. Guy enjoys showing his paintings to all. When Guy is not painting, he can be found outdoors enjoying nature with his family.
