Jean is a contemporary Acrylic Painter who has morphed energetic abstracted colors, thick textures and shapes with the natural beauty of trees, leaves, flowers, and animals. Influenced by the vibrant, flashy hues of other cultures, Jean's palettes are a diary of her travels and often feature elements of her experiences, of memorable color combinations or exotic environments. Formally trained in photography, Jean has discovered how to unlock the hidden potential in photographs, bringing the best aspects of them into her paintings. Jean holds dear the belief that her paintings can serve to capture the essence of compelling patterns or color combinations, to recreate and share the bliss and excitement of discovering fresh, new beauty in the wonders of the world. Jean currently enjoys the privacy and seclusion of her personal studio, and resides with her husband in the southern United States.
