B. Escude is the sort of artist who can't help but go all in with color: the bolder, the better! Completely self-taught, her work is basically a love letter to her wildest childhood memories. Forget formal training; her real art school was her abuela's incredible, chaotic tropical garden. That's where she played hide-and-seek with her dogs and brothers, and it's where her love for crazy-beautiful tropical plants, critters, figures, and animals took root.
