Carole Katchen is an Impressionist whose whimsical social commentary has attracted a vast audience throughout the world. Proficient in both oils and pastels, she has won numerous awards including Master Pastelist status from Pastel Society of America, and the Golden Mentor Award from the International Association of Pastel Society. She has been listed in Who's Who in the World, Who's Who of American Art and the International Who's Who of Women.
She has written 17 published books, most recently "Express Yourself With Pastel", and articles for Cosmopolitan, Parents and several art magazines. She is a contributing editor to The Artist's Magazine and a featured columnist for International Artist. Carole shows her art regularly with galleries in Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri, Mississippi and Louisiana.
