"I believe art can heal a wounded soul, move our hearts and let emotions run free.“
Vicky is a self-taught artist and illustrator living in Slovakia, Central Europe. Since she was a little kid, her creative soul was known to every member of her family. She loves to draw, paint or write short fantasy stories and poems, always doodling and creating new DIY projects. She graduated in 2016, earning a degree in social studies and geography, only taking her afternoon art classes as a hobby. Everything changed in 2020, when she became a mother and decided to take a chance with art as a profession. Motherhood kick-started her career as a freelance illustrator, focusing mainly on digital art and illustration. In her work, she combines the beauty of nature and elements with the power of feminity. Her portraits represent womanhood in all shapes and colours, creating woman as a center of the Universe. Vicky uses bold colours to represent power, resilience and strength, combined with floral elements as a symbol of softness and tenderness. Over the past few years of digital drawing, she took many courses and classes to constantly improve her skill and knowledge.
"I think each one of us is beautiful just the way we are. Through my art, I want every woman and girl to know that.“
