C. J. Swanson draws inspiration from the vibrant city-life and breathtaking landscapes of the Puget Sound Region of Washington State. As a fine artist and studio painter, she has been selling and exhibiting her work to collectors both private and public for several years. She has done commissioned paintings for Microsoft in Redmond, Washington and for interior designers. Her artistic background consists of natural creative ability, art school, private study and countless hours of painting in her art studio. She has worked in the decorative arts field, as a mural and scenic painter. C.J. Swanson’s painting style possesses a unique combination of pop and chic abstracted forms with exciting color, and texture. While painting she relies on intuition, color sense and forward thinking.
Her goal is to develop a lexicon of ideas and continue to make beautiful art.
