Italian artist, Valentina grew up in Milan where her dressmaker mother & tailor father were employed by one of the top fashion houses.
Lively discussions of fashion and style dominated the dinner table and it was over pasta and wine where Valentina began to develop her innate sense of color and texture. She soon fell in love with the idea of contributing to the world of fashion and thought the idea of studying fashion design suited her perfectly.
It was during Valentina’s first semester of study in her fashion illustration class that she realized her true talent, art!She would immerse herself for hours in her illustrations and never seemed to have time to pick up the needle. Lucky for her she was also located near some of the best art schools in the world and so the story begins.
Valentina’s illustrations are whimsical and feminine. She draws most of her inspiration from the fashion industry and can always be found with the latest editions of Italian & French Vogue in her possession.
